DoinGud currently uses Polygon for minting and transacting our NFTs. If you are new to Polygon, the good news is you don’t need to set up a new wallet or ETH address as you can use the same information for Polygon. Below are a few steps to follow in order to start transacting on Polygon for the first time.

💡 *Important: All transactions will require MATIC token on Polygon Network in order to cover gas fees. To learn about adding MATIC to your wallet, please check our Getting MATIC Guide


Option #1: Automatically add Polygon Network to your wallet

Option #2: Manually add Polygon Network to your wallet


Option 1: Automatically add Polygon Network to your wallet

Step 1

On the DoinGud homepage, if you haven’t yet connected to the Polygon Network or you are connected to another network on your wallet, click the big red “Wrong Network” button

Step 2

Click “Switch to Polygon”

Step 3

Click “Switch Network” from your wallet popup notification

Step 4

Congrats, you are now connected to Polygon! You can double check this by checking the connected network in your wallet, or verify that the “Wrong Network” button on the DoinGud website is now gone.


Option #2: Manually add Polygon Network to your wallet

If for some reason you can’t automatically connect your wallet to the Polygon network or are using a mobile device, please follow the below instructions to manually add the Polygon Network to your wallet of choice.

Step 1

Select your wallet extension from your web browser

Step 2

Go to networks and “Add Network” or find the “Settings” of your wallet and choose to “Add Network”

After adding a new network, you can now connect to the Polygon Network by selecting it from your networks list. Once selected, congratulations! You are now connected to the Polygon Network
